Privacy Policy
Version: 1.0
Last Update: 2026-01-14
Coverage: Global
1. Scope of this Policy
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") governs the mobile application we develop and operate (the "App"), along with associated smart hardware, cloud services, and technical support. We commit to designing, implementing, and continually improving our privacy and data-protection program in alignment with ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO/IEC 29100, and other applicable information security and privacy frameworks.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect the minimum data required to deliver product features, fulfill legal obligations, and keep our services secure.
(1). Account and identity information
- Phone number, email address, or third-party login identifier required to register an account.
- Optional profile details such as nickname, avatar, and language preferences.
(2). Device and network information
- Device model, operating system version, and unique identifiers (for example IMEI or UUID).
- Network type, signal strength, IP address, and app version.
(3). Bluetooth and connectivity data
- Location permission needed by certain operating systems to scan nearby Bluetooth devices (used strictly for discovery and pairing, never for persistent background tracking).
- Binding status with specific hardware, signal quality, firmware version, and configuration parameters.
(4). Usage and log information
- Feature usage frequency, interaction records, and anomaly logs to improve user experience and troubleshoot issues.
- Relevant timestamps, error codes, and crash stacks.
(5). Information required by law
- Specific data that must be provided when legally requested by competent authorities.
3. How We Use Information
We process data according to the principles of legality, fairness, necessity, minimization, and transparency:
- Provide, maintain, and optimize the App and related smart hardware services.
- Enable Bluetooth provisioning, firmware upgrades, and device status monitoring.
- Send critical alerts, security tips, service updates, and mandatory notices.
- Perform anonymized statistical analysis to enhance performance and usability.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, or industry requirements, including ISO release procedures.
4. Bluetooth Permissions & Wireless Interfaces
To connect to and control hardware devices, the App requires the following permissions:
- Bluetooth access: Needed to scan nearby devices, establish connections, and transfer data. Bluetooth features remain disabled until permission is granted.
- Precise/approximate location: Required by some operating systems for BLE scanning; we only use it to parse Bluetooth broadcasts and do not store location data.
- Background execution: Keeps firmware updates or critical commands from being interrupted; the App displays persistent notifications during such tasks.
Bluetooth communication follows encrypted handshakes and dynamic key exchange. Critical commands are protected with end-to-end integrity checks to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks or tampering.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We never sell personal information. Data may be shared or disclosed only under these circumstances:
- With your explicit authorization or when you proactively enable a third-party service.
- With trusted service providers (for example cloud hosting or push notifications) under strict data-processing agreements and minimization requirements.
- When required by laws, regulations, or valid governmental orders.
- When necessary to protect your vital interests or public safety and it is impractical to obtain consent in time.
6. Data Storage & Security
- Data is hosted in hardened data centers with tiered access control, periodic audits, and encrypted backups.
- Transport channels use TLS 1.2 or later, while Bluetooth links apply AES encryption and signature verification.
- We operate an ISO/IEC 27001-aligned information security management system with regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
- Each data category has a defined retention schedule; once expired, data is anonymized or deleted.
7. Your Rights
You can exercise the following rights via the in-app “Account & Privacy” menu or customer support:
- Access, correct, download, or delete your personal data.
- Withdraw consent or disable specific permissions (which may limit certain features).
- Request account deletion; we will erase or anonymize data in accordance with legal obligations.
- Obtain a record of processing activities and a summary of privacy impact assessments.
8. Protection of Minors
Our services target adult users. Individuals under 14 must use the App under the consent and supervision of a guardian. If a guardian believes that a minor’s data has been collected without consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete or anonymize the information.
9. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy when products, laws, or security requirements change. Significant changes will be announced in advance via in-app pop-ups, inbox messages, or email, and the updated content will be highlighted. Continuing to use our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
